The other thing I really dislike again probably comes back to price. But I want the ability to use it where-ever and not be tied to one device so I have to pay monthly. I am not a large or even full time business that can hack all these monthly software expenses we have. I really dislike the fact that most software programs have gone this route. The expense is because it has to be paid for monthly (or a small discount if paying yearly all at once). I would definitely use QuickBooks Online.Ĭons: Quickbooks online (I have the Simple Start version) is crazy expensive for someone running a sole proprietor part time business. It also gives you up-to-date info for deposits, and they always deposit the money next day into your account. It also allows you to sync your banking and bank accounts and credit cards to it as well, so you know exactly how much money you have at your disposal. Just the fact that you can set up a merchant account with them and receive payments, process payments, send out invoices, keep all your customer's info. I would definitely recommend using QuickBooks Online. They will walk and guide you through any issues you might have. Everything was pretty easy to figure out on your own, but if you did have any questions, you could call and have immediate support. It was very easy to get started with QuickBooks Online. The other reasons are you can do everything in real-time, and it integrates well with our other platforms, whereas QuickBooks desktop version, you can't sync your other programs to it. The reason I chose QuickBooks Online is it's really easy to set up and implement. And the reason I didn't go with those is because we needed a program that would allow us to keep everything in one place, as far as like invoices, payments, our customer info, and our banking and payroll stuff as well.

Some of the other products that I considered before I chose QuickBooks Online is Stripe, PayPal, things like that. I would give QuickBooks Online five stars out of five.
